Challenge
4 million Brazilian students use SISU each year to pick their university — with just one week to decide. Descomplica’s existing simulator was causing confusion and drop-offs at this critical moment. We needed to redesign it from the ground up.
Approach
We flipped the mental model: instead of “pick a university, check your score,” we built “input once, see all your real options.” Mobile-first, co-created with PM and Tech Lead, tested with real students throughout. Six weeks from kickoff to live MVP.
Results
+300% usage vs. previous year. 85% of users felt more confident. 72% discovered options they hadn’t considered. Zero crashes during SISU week peak traffic.
